From the Sharkives

The water may be cooling down but the shark action is still here for a few more weeks. The bay is full of juvenile dusky whaler sharks, getting more acclimatised to divers by the day. They are also growing fast and will soon leave the shark nursery that is the aquatic reserve.

  1. Just wondering if you have ever witnessed these feeding, chasing schools of yellowtail perhaps? Maybe they feed at night, I don’t know.

    1. I think they do feed at night. I have only seen them feeding on the dead giant cuttlefish. The cuttlefish mating season is now, then they die and the sharks eat the carcasses – that’s fun to watch
